Soccer Betting Rules
1. Betting on matches: All soccer matches are defined by the results at the end of the 90 minutes of play, unless otherwise specified. This includes any added time for injuries or timeouts. However, this does not include extra time, the time allotted for a penalty shootout or a golden goal.
The exceptions to this rule relate to friendly matches. These matches will be settled according to the actual result at the end of the match (excluding any extra time), regardless of whether the full 90 minutes are played. This also includes beach soccer, where matches are specifically solved in just 36 minutes of play.
If a match is played in a non-standard format, i.e. 3 or 4 periods, then all markets related to 'Half-Time' will be settled as 'No action'. If a match is scheduled to be played for more than 90 minutes, i.e. 3 periods of 40 minutes, then all 'Total' markets will be settled as 'No action'.
2. Postponed and abandoned matches: If any match is postponed, all bets on that match will be settled as 'No action'. Any match that does not start at the scheduled start time, but is played on the same day it was scheduled to do so, will not be considered as postponed. The exceptions to these rules are the matches played in the following competitions, for which bets will stand if the match is played within 24 hours of the scheduled time;
- FIFA World Cup
- UEFA European Championship
- African Cup of Nations
- Any cup final or knockout match of the UK domestic competitions.
- UEFA Champions League or Europa League matches (from the group stage onwards)
Any match abandoned before the 90 minutes of play are completed will be settled as 'No action', except those that resume within 24 hours after the scheduled start time or bets in which the result has already been determined at the time of abandonment.
3. Change of venue: If the venue of a match is changed (except to the place of the visiting team), then the bets already placed will remain, as long as the home team remains the home team. If the home and away teams are reversed for a scheduled match (for example, the match is played at the original stadium of the visiting team), then bets placed according to the original match program will be settled as 'No action'.
4. First/last scorer/scorer at any time:
- First scorer: Players who do not play or who enter the game once the first goal is scored will be settled as 'No action'.
- Last scorer/scorer at any time: Players who do not participate at all will be settled as 'No action'.
- If a match is abandoned after a goal has been scored, all bets on First Goal and No Goals will stand. However, all bets on the Last Goal will be reimbursed. If a match is abandoned without any goal being scored, all bets on the First, Last and No Goal will be settled as 'No action'. Own goals don't count.
5. Forecasts: These are the 'Player to Score First' and 'Correct Score' bets. Any player who does not play or who enters the match once the first goal is scored will be setttled as 'No action'. Other options available on request. Own goals don't count.
6. Time forecast: Player who scores first and at the right time. Any player who does not participate or who enters the game once the first goal is scored will be settled as 'No action'. Other options available on request. Own goals don't count. A score of zero goals by the teams will be settled as a 'Loss'.
7. Double chance: Bets on two out of three possible outcomes from three available options (e.g. home win or tie, away win or tie, or home win or away win).
8. Time of the first goal: Goal times are determined by www.flashscore.com.
9. To keep a Clean Sheet: Predict if the team will win the match and not allow any opposing goals.
10. Total line of corner kicks: The number of corner kicks is decided by the total number of corner kicks attempted in the home/away team's match. Repeated corner kicks count as one. Corner kicks conceded, but not executed, do not count.
11. Total line of cards: Cards shown to non-players (e.g. substitutes, reserves, manager or coach) do not count towards the total. Points per cards are calculated as follows: 1 yellow card = 1 point and 1 red card = 2 points. The maximum point count per player is 3 points.
12. First yellow card: If the card is a direct red card, it is considered as a red card but not as a yellow card. If two or more players receive a card for the same incident, then the first player who to receive the yellow card from the referee will be considered the result.
13. Player of the match: Unless otherwise specified, this will be solved according to the result declared by the official source listed in www.UEFA.com.
14. Team to win Both Halves: This bet requires you to select the team that will win in both halves, first and second, separately. This means that your team must score more goals than the opposing team at the end of each half, or 45 minutes of play, including free time.
15. Asian handicap: The handicap is applied to the final result of the match and the team with the most goals after applying the handicap is the winner. If the number of goals for each team is equal after applying the handicap, it will be a tie and the bet will be refunded. There are three types of Asian handicaps:
Full goal handicaps
Example: Team A -3.0, Team B +3.0
- If team A wins by four or more goals, all bets on team A will win, and all bets on team B will be considered as lost.
- If Team A wins by exactly three goals, then all bets on the market will be void and the bet on both sides will be refunded.
Half-goal handicaps
The handicap is applied to the final result of the match and the team with the most goals after applying the handicap will be the winner.
Example: Team A -1.5, Team B +1.5
- If team A wins by two or more goals, then all bets on team A will win, and the bets on team B will lose.
- If team A wins by exactly one goal, the match ends in a tie, or if team B wins the match, then all bets on team B will be considered as winners and the bets on team A as losers.
Divided handicaps (Quarterball handicaps)
A split handicap, also known as a quarter goal, is the level of favoritism between a half goal and a full goal. Here, your bet is divided equally between the full goal and half goal handicaps.
Example: Team A -1.0, -1.5, Team B +1.0, +1.5
- If you place a $100 bet on the Team At -1.0, -1.5, then your bet is split into two $50 bets. The first bet is on the full goal handicap (Team A -1.0), and the second bet is on the half goal handicap (Team A -1.5).
- If team A wins by two or more goals, then all bets on team A will win, and the bets on team B will lose.
- If team A wins by exactly one goal, then the bet on team A -1.0 will be refunded and the bet on team A -1.5 will be considered a loss. The bet on the B +1.0 team will be refunded and the bet on the B +1.5 team will win.
- If the match ends in a tie or Team B wins the match, then all bets on team B will win and bets on team A will lose.
16. Related contingency: You cannot combine handicaps, bets on the winner and totals of the same soccer match in a combined or multiple bet, even if the odds are from different segments of the game. Any bet that constitutes a correlated bet on our part is void and a refund will be issued, regardless of the outcome of the bet.
17. Fictional match: An imaginary match involving two teams that will not play each other. The result of this match will be decided by the number of goals scored by the teams involved in their actual matches on the same calendar day.
Rules:
- If both teams score the same number of goals, the 'draw' option is the winner.
- If a match is postponed, the usual rules for postponed matches apply.
- If a match is abandoned, the usual rules for abandoned matches apply.
18. Match statistics: Bets on shots, shots on frame, offside and fouls will be settled according to the final statistics published in whoscored.com.
