Paulista Poker Championship (CPH)

The CPH, the Paulista poker tournament, is considered the largest state Texas Hold’em tournament in Brazil and recognized as one of the most competitive in the southern hemisphere, with 16 seasons already played. The event attracts players from all regions of the country, bringing together the best of Brazil in one place!
Created in 2004, the Paulista Circuit, as it is also called, is a tournament that allows you to live the authentic experience of playing live poker in São Paulo. With the tradition of forming champions, CPH has stood out for having a pioneering spirit, adding excitement and adrenaline that give life to duels of great players. It has become the official event of the Federação Paulista with 16 events on its agenda.
Histori
The CPH - Circuito Paulista de Hold’em emerged in 2004 in the city of Campiñas. From then on, the event grew and began to bring together male and female players from many cities.
With the spread of poker through television, at each new stage the field increased. In a short time, the CPH began to develop more professional spaces, such as the first poker club in São Paulo. Although the first tournaments were held at the end of 2004, it was not until 2005 that the Paulista Circuit completed its first official season. At the end of the year, Leandro Brasa became the first poker champion in São Paulo.
Evolution
Over time, several events were included in order to promote plurality and variety in the event, Super High Roller, One Day, Second Chance, Omaha. As well as the general and individual ranking of Omaha and the Ladies from 2008, being the first female tournament with an exclusive ranking in Brazil.
The champion of each season, in addition to being recognized by the Paulista Poker Federation, is automatically selected to join the São Paulo team
