How to play Roulette.

Depending on the roulette game, there may be a slight variation in the bets, but the way of playing is the same for all.
In each round, you need to define your bet amount and where to bet. Having defined these, the croupier will end the bets and start the round.
Numerical roulette of 37 or 38 spaces, depending on the type of roulette, will start to spin. When the ball lands on a square, the result will be announced by color and number. All winners related to this result will be paid according to the bet that each one made.

Roulette Rules.

The rules for Online Roulette in Brazil are the same as for physical Casino Roulette. Basically, players need to bet on numbers and colors. From there, the roulette wheel starts to spin and when the ball lands on a square, we have the winner.
When you join in an online roulette table, you will see the roulette accompanied by a board that is where the bets will be placed. Each round has a set time for placing bets with chips.

Bets can be inside or outside:

Inside bets: are those placed on specific numbers. This type of bet has low odds, so the payouts are the highest.

Outside bets: are those that are outside the numbers on the board, for example, bets on all reds. Unlike the inside ones, these bets have better odds.
In the automatic roulette system, inside bets are cumulative. You will have to keep betting, choosing numbers until you reach the minimum amount.
When the betting time is up, the roulette wheel will start to spin and the winners will be announced shortly after the ball lands on a square. Seconds later, the time to place new bets begins.

Betting Board

The gaming table is composed of the roulette wheel and the betting board.
The betting board consists of 49 or 50 squares, depending on the type of roulette.
The squares are the individual numbers from 1 to 36, the zero or two zeros, according to the roulette wheel, and the squares outside the numbers, which are groups of numbers.
The groups are 1 to 12, 13 to 24, 25 to 36. You can bet on the reels, first half or second, on all odd or even numbers, or all red or black.

Ball.

The roulette ball is white and approximately two centimeters in diameter. In the beginning it was made of ivory, but nowadays it is more common to find polytetrafluoroethylene balls, better known as teflon.

Roulette history.

Roulette is one of the oldest games in the world and, although the game has undergone several modifications, its version in the classic format, as we know it today, is at least 1 century old.
Created in the Middle Ages, with the name Wheel of Fortune, the first casino roulette was at the famous Casino de Monte Carlo. However, the exact origin of this game is still debated to this day.
In 1842, the roulette we know today appeared, modified with the aim of being presented at the Montecarlo casino. Years later, on some roulette wheels, they put a new number, the double zero, again varying the payout probabilities.

Who invented the roulette game?

The first roulette wheel was created by Blaise Pascal, a mathematician, physicist and inventor, in the Middle Ages. Pascal developed the theory of probability, which was originally applied to games of chance.
Pascal invented the first roulette with 36 numbers, without the zeros, where he distributed the numbers in a certain way on the roulette, creating balance in the payout probabilities.
As early as 1842, the Blanc brothers updated roulette by adding the number zero, to place it in the Monte Carlo casino.

What does the word roulette mean?

Roulette was invented by Blaise Pascal, hence the origin of the French word roulette, roulette, which means small wheel.

How to win on roulette game

Roulette is based on luck. Even so, many players over the years have found ways to help increase the odds of winning.
First, it takes a lot of practice. As there are more than one type of roulette, start by betting on European roulette, which has a higher probability of winning than American roulette.
Another tip to win on roulette is to place outside bets. Outside bets are more likely to win than inside bets.
Applying these little tips along with the luck factor will give you more chances of winning.

How to bet on roulette game

Bets can be outside or inside, as we mentioned earlier.
External ones can be made by color, halves, odd or even. These bets pay 1:1, that is, you win the same amount you invested. It is also possible to bet on columns or dozens.
In inside bets, the winnings are higher, but the probability is lower, as they are not group bets like outside bets. By betting on a single number, the winnings are higher, but it is also possible to bet on two numbers, three numbers in a row, four or even six neighbor numbers.

How many times does roulette pay? - Types of Bets

The different types of roulette

As we mentioned before, depending on the roulette game, there may be some differences regarding formats and rules.

Let's see the main differences between American, French and European roulette:

American Roulette
American roulette is popular almost all over the world, except in Europe, where European roulette predominates.
This roulette wheel has 36 numbers and zero. The difference here is the presence of the double zero. American is considered a little more difficult to win, as it has higher house odds than other roulette games.

European Roulette
The European roulette game is the most played in the world. It has 36 numbers plus the zero, and does not include the double zero.
The main difference between European and American roulette is the arrangement of numbers on the roulettes, in addition to European roulette having better odds than American roulette.

French Roulette
In terms of format, French roulette is the same as European roulette, it has 36 numbers plus a What sets it apart here is the La Partage rule, where all players who bet on a red or black group, even or odd, receive half their bet value if the ball lands on zero.

Virtual Roulette
Virtual roulette is the online version of the traditional physical casino roulette games. They have the same rules, but the difference is that you can play from anywhere, at any time.
