The 2008 Breeders' Cup horse races are scheduled to take place on Oct. 24th and Oct. 25th, 2008 at Oak Tree at Santa Anita Park. The two-day event features $25.5 million in purses and prizes.

ESPN2 will air the Breeders' Cup Selection Show on Wednesday, Oct. 22 and then they will continue its coverage of the Breeders' Cup World Championships on Friday Oct. 24 from 3:30 - 6:30 PM (ET) and will feature five Breeders' Cup Championship races for female horses with purses totaling $8 million. ABC will pick up the live coverage on Saturday, Oct. 25 from 1:00 - 3:30 PM (ET) before switching to ESPN from 3:30 - 7:00 PM (ET).
